Investment Coordinator
Compensation: Full-time — $47.88 per hour ($3,830.40 bi-weekly) · Part-time — $45.43 per hour ($1,817.20 bi-weekly)
Overview
MILLERDALE INVESTMENTS LIMITED, an investment advisory firm operating in Canada, the United States, and Australia since 1980-12-01, is seeking a motivated Investment Coordinator to join our operations team. We support institutional and private clients with portfolio coordination, client communications, and investment operations across our three regional offices.
The Investment Coordinator works with portfolio managers and client service teams to coordinate investment instructions, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely follow-up on client requests. Responsibilities
- Coordinate investment instructions and portfolio updates in accordance with documented procedures.
- Prepare client correspondence, meeting materials, and portfolio summary reports.
- Maintain accurate records in designated systems and escalate exceptions promptly.
- Support onboarding of new clients by gathering documentation and coordinating with advisory teams.
- Assist with scheduling portfolio reviews and follow-up communications across Canada, the US, and Australia.
- During the probation period, work under direct supervision with step-by-step guidance from your manager.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Charlottetown, New York, and Sydney to ensure consistent service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a professional office environment.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, email systems, and client management tools.
- Interest in financial markets, investment operations, or wealth management.
- Flexibility to perform varied duties as business needs evolve.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in finance, business, or a related field is an asset. Prior experience in financial services, administrative support, or client operations is preferred but not required for motivated candidates. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Other Skills
The ideal candidate communicates effectively in writing and verbally, manages time efficiently, works independently with sound judgement, and demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Work Location
This position may be performed from our Charlottetown, New York, or Sydney offices, or remotely within our operating regions, subject to manager approval and business requirements.
